São Luís: a mission alive, thank God
Our mission this year has had a series of extraordinary events that we have worked hard and we are giving the perception that what little we can do, compared to much that would be necessary, if done with the Lord, is something that goes beyond our expectations and becomes a deep impression on many people.
remember some facts in particular: • the visit of the 8
deacons of the diocese of Verona, which together with the rector Don Luigi Verzé have opened a connection between our being here, "far from Verona" and concern for the formation of future priests of our diocese.
• The availability of family Annechini: Luisa and Paul with their children Emma, \u200b\u200bAlex, Adele and Mario, who in January 2009 will be part of our mission for a year and a half. Their presence will no doubt be a generous witness of a missionary family and priests will help us to live mission with a more attentive to the concrete life of families.
• The appointment of Don Daniel at Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator of the São Luís: sign of a significant role that our mission is taking in relation to the diocese who are serving.
• A radio (one hour per week) of the newly formed Foundation JPA (Justice and Peace embrace) and entirely free animated by young people of the parish.

+ Education: towards enhancement of the parish and community dimension focuses on the person, but also transforms it.
+ Liturgy: Towards a "faithful celebrate, joyful and creative that gives importance to the Word of God with a common, independent and responsible ministry.
+ Charity: towards a more solidarity and self-organized, but with the knowledge that love can not remain a prisoner of any rule.
The many social projects that are our mission and that are sustained in large part to the help of parishes and friends of Verona is a daily miracle that occupy most of our energies and our time. I am a little challenge to the global economic crisis very heavy: the charity so far seems to be stronger. Thanks.
